Over The Air has won here in the past but would not want the ground to ease any further, though Harry Cobden's claim is a massive plus. Mondo Cane was very much on the upgrade in the spring, scoring over this track and trip then following up over fences at Huntingdon. Periquest had shown nothing until a much improved run over this trip at Market Rasen in April when caught right on the line. The last time DALIANCE ran he landed a chase on this track in April of last year from a 5lb higher mark. In the hope that Noel Williams has him ready, he is taken to make up for lost time and land this. Pithivier ran in a Listed contest on only his second start over hurdles but still has plenty to do while this is a tough ask for a four year old on his handicap bow so Florrie Boy may struggle. Shaiyzar won just once in Ireland but has shown enough for new connections to suggest he should be winning soon for new connections.
