In depth

Verdict

Seldom Inn won a bumper and scored twice over hurdles before making an encouraging start over fences behind One For Arthur at Kelso last month. Streets Of Promise, a winning point to pointer and bumper performer, scored twice over hurdles in the spring and though beaten twice at a higher level subsequently looks the type to make a chaser. King's Odyssey could be a blot on this handicap off a mark of 131 if taking to fences as he looked potentially useful when gaining a facile victory over hurdles on heavy ground in March. Warren Greatrex has a good record here and it got ever better when SHAH OF PERSIA scored over the course and distance last month. That was only his second start over fences and with just a 6lb rise to contend with he can complete a quick double. Capard King won three of his last four over hurdles earlier this year but makes his chasing debut on a 13lb higher mark than his last victory.
