Verdict

LA ESTRELLA can complete a hat-trick here, with the main rivals expected to be Celticello and Red Expresso. The selection is the pick of two Don Cantillon runners here, the other being My Mirasol, who's yet to recapture the form of earlier in the year, despite coming close. La Estrella is giving weight away to all, and although having had some injury problems, won comfortably here and at Wolverhamnpton in his last two outings. He's versatile over trip and surface, and sets a decent standard here. Celticello returns to the flat following a couple of unsuccessful hurdles outings. Three of his four career wins came with some cut in the ground so he should appreciate this surface, and the trip won't be a problem. Red Expresso lost his maiden tag last week, and taking the headgear off seemed to bring some improvement. The trip won't be a problem, for what is Michael Bell's only runner on the card. This looks a competitive little heat, and we think first home can be La Estrella.
