None of these handicappers are superstars but BUZZ BIRD is heading in the right direction and David Barron's filly gets the nod ahead of La Toya J and Yawary. It would appear that the selection may have found her niche after returning from a four month layoff to find just one a nose too good on his track debut last time. She finished with some aplomb that day and she should be able to build on that performance. La Toya J's last run can be forgotten as the step down in trip went against her. She showed plenty of promise on her second start and while she is yet to build on that this is a good opportunity to do so. Yawary is interesting with a first time tongue toe applied to try and reign in her temperament. She doesn't find a great in the finish but her return run after a break last time was encouraging and she remains on the list. Lord's Seat is closely matched with the pick after their last meeting but may find Buzz Bird improve away from him so David Barron's filly looks the marginal call.
