SHERNANDO is likely to be in warm order for this maiden so while his price is likely to be prohibitive he does look the most likely if taking to the surface and we'll take that chance with debutant Spirit Of Darley and benchmark Mydy Easy making the cut. Mark Johnston couldn't have his charges in better form right now and the pick can keep that record going. Related to plenty of winners he shaped well on debut at Nottingham and with the usual progression he should be too good with only the surface adding some doubt. Spirit Of Darley cost $300,000 as a yearling with Clive Brittain paying through the nose for a superb looking pedigree. The trainer also has a good record here and if running up to her potential first time up she could make good use of her fillies allowance. Mydy Easy is one of the more experienced animals in the line-up but isn't anything special as demonstrated by his mark of 65. He could do better now with a new yard but he will need to improve. Wrongwayround has only been modest in a couple of bumpers starts so is overlooked this time with Shernando landing the verdict despite slight doubts over the surface.
