The second division of a decidedly moderate affair may go to Random Task who is one of the few with recent winning form. Derek Shaw's charge was scoring for the fifth time when running out a most decisive victor of a claimer at Wolverhampton last time and has sound claims of following up under his capable rider. His high draw is not ideal but has been handed a fine opportunity at the weights and he should be able to take full advantage. Of the others, Pivotable has a shout on his claiming win over the course and distance in January but hasn't been in quite the same form since while Arnbi Dancer is a consistent type but faces no easy task on these terms and Garth Pool has yet to recapture his form having missed all of last year with injury.
