A competitive handicap in which several can be given a chance on their best form. Golden Brief is a specialist seven furlong performer but all of his previous victories have been at Lingfield and he is now 5lb higher for a narrow success last time. Robbies Dream has been out of form of late but has slipped to an attractive mark and can't be ruled out but First Maite looks to be weighted up to his best recent form and may struggle under top weight. Marengo was narrowly touched off over the course and distance last month but is now 4lb higher and disappointed last time so preference is for Premier Account who was placed in a big field of handicappers at Beverley last September and may have found conditions too testing on his recent comeback.
