Broughton Knows can complete a hat-trick at the expense of King Priam, Next Flight and Sea Ya Maite. The Bill Musson-trained seven-year-old has really come to himself of late, winning at Lingfield and Southwell. He stays two miles, so has done well to win twice over a mile and a half. The manner of his latest victory suggests that it is time to step him back up in trip, and the extra two furlongs here should ensure that he takes all the beating. King Priam has done us a few favours over the years, but is hard to catch right these days, while Sea Ya Maite does not have any improvement left surely. Next Flight has tumbled down the weights over the past two years, and showed signs of encouragement when third here at Southwell the time before last. He stayed on at the one pace again on his last visit and is another that will relish the extra distance. However, he is still a maiden and will find it very hard to lose the tag against the in-form Broughton Knows who has everything in his favour.
