Daring Affair is selected to score ahead of Weakest Link, with Macpursie best watched on her debut. Daring Affair should be well used to the all-weather now, as the last five of her eight career outings have been on the artificial surface. She has been coming to hand on her last couple of visits to Southwell, shaping very much as though the step back up to seven furlongs is what is needed. Lisa Jones is on board for the first time and can claim a valuable three pounds, so with a low draw as well, Daring Affair should go close. Weakest Link was nearly two lengths behind the selection last time, and is worse off at the weights, so is surely held but even so looks the one to give Daring Affair most to do. Macpursie makes her debut, and as she is trained by David Barron, is sure to be placed to good effect in due course, and indeed any money in the ring would be interesting. The four-year-old Bundaberg has it to do giving over a stone and a half to the younger Daring Affair who has been found a perfect opportunity to open her account.
