Stolen Glance is selected ahead of Finished Article and Golden Sprite. Stolen Glance is not the easiest to catch right but an experiment at Pontefract over 1m2f worked well and on that evidence, today's trip should not unduly inconvenience. Finished Article is nine years of age but does at least hold his form. He does not quite stay 12 and 14 furlongs so the drop back to today's trip looks to be the correct one and he can be relied upon to run his usual honest race. Bath specialist, Golden Sprite is less exposed than most. The filly has disappointed on two starts on the surface but enough was thought of her to send her off as favourite on her most recent start. Bienheureux is an infrequent winner although he won well at Kempton a couple of starts ago. The market is watched to see if the punters are getting involved. Mi Odds would have major chances on old form although age looks to have dulled his ability. Iamback was worried out of victory here over 1m4f in banded stakes grade and may find one or two too good here. Having considered the alternatives, Stolen Glance is selected.
