      In depth

      Verdict

The winner of all five starts since joining Mick Appleby, Lion Hearted escapes a penalty for his latest success in an apprentices' race at Wolverhampton on Tuesday. But he was all out to win on that occasion and has yet to compete on the Fibresand. TAGUR failed to complete on his hurdling bow last time but notched-up a double on the Flat in November including a course and distance win. He may well return to winning ways in this given that form looks stronger than Baron Run’s victory in a lower grade here last month. Tum Tum was placed on his Fibresand debut while Hammer Gun has previous form here but Pearl Spectre tends to save his best for Chelmsford.
