      Verdict

      Katie Gale is hard to predict and was well beaten last time having won an amateurs' race over track and trip before that with Tynecastle Park beaten a long way in second. The latter also found Seasearch too good over 1m6f here last month but Andrew Balding’s charge has something to prove on previous attempts at this longer trip. GALILEO’S SPEAR is proving frustratingly difficult to win with but was beaten only a neck when last racing on the Fibresand in December and gets another chance today. Lady Makfi’s earlier success came at Wolverhampton but Di's Gift was successful here off a higher mark at this time last year.
