      Verdict

      Cherubic was raised 12lb after romping home by seven lengths here last month and could only manage fourth on last week’s return. Medici Moon won over 7f here in November but has struggled off today’s higher mark since but Alpha Tauri finished in front of Zoravan when third at the track last month. Scribner Creek is getting closer but it would be no surprise if ILLUSIONAL takes to the Fibresand having failed to see out 1m2f at Wolverhampton last time - Mark Johnston’s Bernardini colt gets the nod.
