SAMCRO has won all six starts under Rules, four of them on ground similar to today’s surface. He sauntered clear of the re-opposing Duc Des Genievres in the Grade 1 Deloitte at Leopardstown last month having won a Grade 3 over 2m4f at Navan earlier in a canter and looks a high-class recruit. Next Destination looks a danger as he won a Grade 1 at Naas on his latest start and scored over 3m between the flags. He may attempt to expose any flaws in the selection’s stamina, though he has a bit to find on the form book. Gowiththeflow represents last year’s winning yard and beat a decent novice at Doncaster last time, though was receiving weight. Any further progress could see him run well but Black Op, second in a Grade 2 here in January, has the stronger form. Vision Des Flos revelled in the mud at Exeter but Scarpeta is less exposed.
