Verdict

Royale Django boasts a good wins to runs ratio of 4-7 and is unbeaten in two starts over fences, including one over course and distance. There is still room for increased fluency in his fencing technique and he faces a stiff task here with his double penalty. He concedes 7lb to Call Me Vic who came home untroubled in a three-horse affair at Stratford but more significantly is also asked to concede a stone to fencing recruit HENLLAN HARRI who was probably just the best of these over hurdles. With Sean Bowen's 3lb claim also taken into the equation, we'll take a chance that the Bowen inmate proves effective over the larger obstacles, in which case he may have too much toe for his two main adversaries.
