Not the strongest of events so our vote goes to Ashstanza ahead of Atlantic Breeze and, possibly. Morning Hawk. The selection appeared to show improvement when finishing fifth at Lingfield last time over a mile on only his third outing. On breeding, the step up in trip is not guaranteed to suit, but his trainer is no mug and we are happy to side with his judgement in a modest affair. Atlantic Breeze won here over a mile on his second start and, with only four career runs to his name, ought to go well in this company, and the step up in trip could well suit. Of the others, the drop in grade and step up in trip could bring about improvement in Morning Hawk, so watch the betting market for clues, and stablemates Ceasar and Courant d'Air are closely weighted on their runs in a mile seller here last time. However, overall, Ashstanza looks to hold a very good chance and gets our vote.
