Not a bad claimer this and in it we like the look of Blakeset over Port St Charles, Sharp Hat, Scary Night and Polar Haze. The selection comes out the best of these on adjusted ratings, has won seven of his last nine races (including here on Tuesday) and is a course and distance winner, so has plenty of ticks in the right boxes. That said, course and distance winner Port St Charles is not too far behind him at the adjusted weights, similar comments applying to Sharp Hat and Scary Night. Any one - or all - of these could go well. Polar Haze comes here in good heart following a course and distance win, although that did come in a seller, and he has the beating of African Spur based on that run. As we say, an interesting race of its kind, but we'll side with Blakeset to keep up his winning form.
