      Verdict

      Alto Vertigo, Dasheena, Carlitos Spirit and Piccolo Diamante are a handful against the field in a competitive finale and the vote is given to Piccolo Diamante. The selection has been unlucky in running off late but as a consequence he remains on a fair mark and with the race looking sure tio be run to suit he looks the one to be on. Alto Vertigo rates the main danger as he beat Whinthorpe last time out but this looks tougher and he looks vulnerable under top weight. Dasheena won well last time when beating Tanforan but he may struggle under his penalty. Of the remainder Carlitos Spirit is another last time out winner that could go well but the drop in trip has to be a concern and with this in mind Piccolo Diamante looks a value bet.
