Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and this appears another good opportunity for Phar From Frosty while Mr Hickman and Tom's Prize offer the chief threat. Charlie Egerton's gelding has shown progressive form over hurdles having followed a Market Rasen win with a Wetherby success last week. There was plenty to admire about his latest victory when stretching clear of his rivals and, as this race looks no stronger, he should prove capable of completing a hat-trick before his attentions are turned to the larger obstacles. Mr Hickman is difficult to assess having won his sole start in the point-to-point division six months ago but the likelihood is that he beat little and has more on his plate on this occasion. Tom's Prize was a smart winning chaser last season but appears to have had his share of problems and is probably best watched on his comeback before resuming his chasing career so this looks booked for Phar From Frosty to gain another success over timber.
