CAILIN NA RI may be good enough here to see off the threat of Empress Orchid and Devon Native in an open affair. Empress Orchid makes her hurdling debut here having shaped with real promise to be a close second in her two bumper runs. Devon Native is another to have filled the runner up spot in her last two races, albeit flattered last time on her hurdling bow. She has ability but perhaps lacks speed. After appearing to struggle on testing ground in his native Ireland, Cailin na Ri was only just run out of it on faster ground on his first outing in this country. He was hampered and fell on his latest start, but this looks a good opportunity for Cailin na Ri to lose his maiden tag.
