Harelda should be up to the task if fit enough after an absence, with Luxi River and Datahill best of the rest in an uninspiring maiden. Harelda shaped well on both starts last summer, making an eyecatching debut in fifth at Kempton before chasing home Red Fort at Newmarket, clearly not minding the step up to a mile and a half. She has been given plenty of time to strengthen up, and if anywhere near fit, should have little difficulty in opening her account. Luxi River is fully exposed and was beaten in a seller here last time, and the fact that he is one of the dangers illustrates that this race is there for the taking. Datahill has been plying his trade in France and it is difficult to know what to make of the form of his efforts in testing ground. Harelda then has a first-rate chance of bouncing back from a break with a win.
