A field large in numbers but low in quality goes to post for this seller but on closer inspection not many can be given a serious chance of winning and the principals look to be City General, Armentieres and Hunting Pink with the vote going to the last named. The filly is from the bang in-form Hughie Morrison yard was a fair fourth behind The Job in a similar contest at Lingfield last time and off her lowly mark she could go well at a fair price. City General was a beaten favourite in this grade last time out but he is stepping up in trip and that should suit. Armentieres is also worthy of respect but he was behind the selection last time and is expected to be so again. Of the remainder Rare Coincidence was third behind Could She Be Magic last time and has place claims while the newcomer Blues Over would not have to be anything special to score on his debut but we are happy to stick with Hunting Pink.
