    Verdict

Nimello has his first start for Tony Newcombe since being bought out of Kevin Ryan's stable after winning a Wolverhampton seller three months ago and may just need the run so preference is for Cloud Dancer, who gets the verdict over Better Off. The last mentioned was entitled to need his latest start at Wolverhampton in October having been off the track since June and has to be respected but Cloud Dancer has an obvious chance. The daughter of Bishop Of Cashel showed he liking for this surface when second in a couple of nurseries here two years ago and ran well on her first start back on the all-weather since then when third in a handicap at Wolverhampton recently. This represents a drop in class for the four-year-old who is taken to regain the winning thread. The remainder of the runners make limited appeal with George Stubbs from the back to form stable of Nick Littmoden, David Barron's Jan Bruegel and the Andrew Reid-trained Bulawayo probably the pick of them but we are happy to side with Cloud Dancer, who has solid claims.
