None of these inspire confidence but the veteran LUCKY BEGGAR has gone close at Newcastle the last twice. He’s yet to win on the all-weather but has placed on this surface in the past and may finally come good. Captainofthebounty has only his second start for Roger Fell but hasn’t raced since March but Bold Decision and Kraka were both winning on Turf during the summer. Bernard Spierpoint and Maxi Miss are the least exposed with the latter making her handicap debut.
