      Verdict

Kats Bob did better in his opening runs on good to soft than later on Tapeta and good ground but looks vulnerable. My Name's Nipper chased Burscough for a long way over this trip at Pontefract and only weakened close home. The latter stayed on the better though had had the benefit of a previous run. DARK ZEAS, who is related to a host of winners, ran a bit better than his finishing position suggests on his debut over the track and trip and normal progress can see him maintain the family tradition. Intrusive improved from his debut over this trip at Redcar but will need a bit more.
