Betsey Trotter has won seven of her 30 starts and, though up 6lb for her recent victory at Thirsk, has won from this mark on the all-weather. DANZAN (NAP) hasn't won since February 2018 but has been racing almost exclusively in Class 2 handicaps. He was beaten less than a length in that grade at Nottingham last time and has surprisingly been dropped 1lb so can finally score for Tim Easterby. Wasntexpectingthat was in excellent form on the all-weather last winter, scoring three times at Newcastle and once at Southwell. He finished last in the Silver Cup on his reappearance and may need another run. Black Friday won a Class 5 handicap here in August and hasn't been beaten far at this level subsequently but John Kirkup looks more of a threat as he's only 1lb higher than when scoring on heavy ground here in August and will love the conditions.
