Tory Boy had Maragun behind when scoring at Stratford on soft ground at Stratford last month and has since shown himself to be in good heart by finishing runner-up on his latest start over this course and distance. However, on this faster surface he may struggle to confirm the form with martin Pipe's charge who is 2lb better off for a beating of two and a half lengths. Welsh Border is improving and is on to the hat-trick after novice wins but will find this tougher against more experienced opposition.
