Bell Rock,Phildari and High Peak are three against the field in this wide open handicap chase and the nomination is given to Bell Rock. The selection has been in the form of his life of late winning his last two races and although he is rising in the weights he still looks ahead of the handicapper and is taken to win again under conditions that suit. Philldari rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Claude Greengrass but he has a penalty for that win and that rival is weighted to gain his revenge on these revised terms and for that reason he is opposed. High Peak is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is hard to win with and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. The Croppy Boy ran well on his first run of the season and he is sure to strip fitter here but he still has a few pounds to find with the principals and for the winner we return to Bell Rock who is taken to defy the handicapper.
