Lethal gets the nod over Cerebus and Diriculous, while Tom¿s Laughter has been in good heart of late and also merits consideration. Not many of the others have shown sparkle of late, but each has claims on the best of their previous form. The market may be the best gauge here. Tom¿s Laughter has shot up the ratings after winning his last three starts in good style. However, he needs to post a career best effort now and is reluctantly passed over as the main hope. Diriculous is well related and is capable of continuing to pay his way. Jim Crowley is getting the hang of how to ride the son of Diktat and the partnership has top be respected in this company. As does Cerebus, who does not have too much to find with the selection. He is 1lb better off from their encounter here last week and should not be underestimated. However, Lethal is on a most attractive mark just now and, as he appears to have been sharpened up by his racing on the All Weather during the winter, Richard Fahey¿s gelding is taken to hold all the aces when the cards are placed on the table.
