CARPE DIEM was a beaten favourite last time but we put the Richard Fahey-trained gelding forward to score at the main expense to Rockson and Le Reve Royal. The four-year-old selection was a well beaten favourite last time out but is in the thick of things on his previous efforts. A visor seems to have aided his concentration. Rockson, sixth on her handicap debut last time, could be the selection's biggest threat. Le Reve Royal was never far away from the pace when last seen and posted a more encouraging effort in first-time cheek-pieces. She enjoys give underfoot so will need the forecast rain to arrive.
