Verdict

Kemsing landed a double over a mile here early in the year and his half-brother won over further. Rainbow Lad scored over 1m2f at Chelmsford a week ago and arrives in better form than when well beaten here in the past while Skylark Lady returned a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago. A couple of these make their handicap debuts and Tartan Bute will be fancied to go well for Mark Johnston having placed over today's trip at Lingfield in January. But Peter Chapple-Hyam sends a rare runner in ASAFOETIDA and she may prove good enough with Louis Steward's allowance in her favour.
