HERMITAGE BAY has become a shade frustrating having returned a losing favorite in all three starts. But he gets first-time blinkers here and they may do the trick. There was little separating Haabis and General Hazard when filling the places at Kempton last time but one of those returning to action may prove a bigger threat. Hakam was runner-up in both starts last year, Murad Khan showed ability when placed at Kempton in October but Banham was behind a Sir Michael Stoute-trainer winner over track and trip and the latter runs Under Attack in this.
