In depth

Verdict

This looks to quite a trappy affair in which Meadow Mischief, Deutschland and Dubai Sunday are the leading lights with the vote given to Meadow Mischief. The selection is a likeable colt and he has shown enough already this season to make him the one to beat today. He was a good second behind Abstract Air at Lingfield last time and nominal improvement should mean he is good enough today. Deutschland is the obvious danger as he ran okay when finishing third behind Jebel Ali at Lingfield last week. That was his first run for five months so he should strip fitter today and he will give our selection the most to think about. The booking of Frankie Dettori for Dubai Sunday certainly catches the eye and this well-bred newcomer is one to note in the market. Impress also hails from a top yard so if the market vibes were positive then this colt would be of interest. However, for the winner we are happy to return to Meadow Mischief.
