Having found one too good in each of his two starts so far, Dream Champion is the obvious choice and gets the vote to open his account at the main expense of Squadron Leader and Marcello. The selection has done little wrong in defeat in those starts and will be unfortunate to find one too good again. Just Tilly has shown ability but need to improve to trouble the judge, while Herring belied market odds when a promising third on his debut at two and could be of interest under Jamie Spencer. Greenwich Village also makes his first start as a three-year-old and has Eddie Ahern booked although a bigger threat is likely to come from Squadron Leader. Richard Hannon's colt is more exposed than most of these but has claims on the pick of his form, while Marcello looks to be going the right way and has to be considered. Dream Champion holds solid claims though and is hard to oppose.
