There is no doubting the consistency of Best Double but Gerard Butler's colt is proving to be expensive to follow and, along with recent Kempton third Pititana, looks worth taking on with preference for Hang Loose. The selection ran promisingly on his only start as a juvenile when a close third in a six-furlong Windsor maiden. The son of Agnes World should not be inconvenienced by the drop to the minimum trip and, if fit enough, he may well be good enough to make a winning return. Phinerine showed improved form in a Wolverhampton claimer last time but is a long-standing maiden and readily passed over, while Danish Blues needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Just Down The Road is entitled to improve for her recent reappearance and has to be considered along with Pititana, who could fair better back in distance having not seemingly lasted home at Kempton. Best Double will surely win a race one day but he has been expensive to follow and a chance is taken on the fitness of Hang Loose.
