Bill Turner is the man for this time of the season and his Count The Trees is selected as the value option over Mossman Gorge and Solo Star. It could also be prudent to monitor the betting surrounding Beauchamp Star, who won a Banded Stakes here in January. This is slightly tougher, but she has a dropped to a handy mark and looks a likely type for a contest of this nature. Solo Star may have been in need of the run when she was down the field at Wolverhampton last month, and is better judged on last season's turf form. The daughter of Observatory was consistent in this grade and will be a big threat if she copes with the switch to racing on this surface. There was no controversy about Mossman Gorge's victory of 12 days ago and he is obviously in good heart. Darryll Holland keeps the ride and a bold bid is anticipated. However, Count The Trees still has scope to improve at this trip and Turner's charge is fancied to build on what was a very encouraging effort at Lingfield last week.
