Malaaq and L'Oiseau de Feu look to be the two form horses here and they could fight out the finish, with the first named just getting the verdict, Trepa may do best of the newcomers. Michael Jarvis has his string in fine form and Malaaq has shown plenty of ability in four races to date. She was just touched off by College Scholar at Folkestone last time and if she acts on this surface she will be hard to beat. L'Oiseau de Feu improved on his debut effort to finish a close up third in that Folkestone contest. He is going the right way and should again make a race of it with the selection. Trepa looks the best of the debutante's as he cost 105 thousand guineas as a two-year-old and has a superb American pedigree. The market will be informative, but without that knowledge we have to go with the form horse and that is Malaaq.
