BUZZ BIRD has shown a great affinity for this track and is given the nod from Chain Of Office and Law Of Attraction as a result. The selection has been successful on his last two visits here and it's probably best to ignore his most recent run at Pontefract which saw him fail to reach the frame for the seventh time on turf. He's an entirely different proposition on fibresand and can enjoy the drop in grade. Law Of Attraction has the highest official rating having been raised by 3lbs for a perfectly respectable second in a Kempton handicap last time but connections clearly feel that this represents a better opportunity for him to get his head in front and he has obvious claims if handling the surface. Chain Of Office has been beaten a long way the last twice to disappoint favourite backers but he may well be able to redeem himself in this company and it will be interesting to see if his supporters come back for more. Takajan and Juicy Pear are others with claims but Buzz Bird can fly in.
