Tara Emperor was a good second behind Danielle's Lad on his last run at Nottingham. The gelding from John Quinn's yard would be a confident choice on turf, but he has shown no form on the AW. He also has a long absence to overcome. Katy O'Hara is proven on the surface, and was a good second behind Sundried Tomato on her last run. If she is fit after a long break (10 months) she will be hard to beat, as that rival has improved significantly since. Soba Jones would also be one to consider on his best form, but he needs to improve on his last outing to score. Mufreh was a good second to Czar Wars last time off a lower mark. However, this looks a tougher contest and he may now be in the handicapper's grip. Mr Pertemps is from a yard in top form. He won an easier race in good style last time out, when defeating Arnbi Dancer. He has been penalised for that victory, but it would be no surprise if he was still ahead of the handicapper and any market move will be significant.
