        A wide open handicap gets proceedings underway. Pawn In Life is from a yard in top form, is a course winner. His latest second behind Sorbiesharry also reads well in the context of this race and he will be hard to beat if he reproduces that effort. Lady Pahia was a disappointing favourite last time out finishing fifth over seven furlongs. the extra distance will suit and she could go well at a fair price. Sarraaf is also worthy of consideration despite top weight he was behind Pawn In Life last time out but he is better off at the weights. However he does not always find as much as is expected off the bridle. Wonderful Man was third behind Brandy Cove last time out and that form has been well franked since, and he remains well handicapped on that form. Pup's Pride is from a yard that is beginning to find it's form and he to is worth a cautionary look in the market. Of the remainder Social Contract has been running over shorter trips and he is running over his optimum distance now.
