Verdict

WEIGHTFORDAVE ran well for a long way at Kempton last month but once again failed to find anything at the business end and a strike-rate of 0-27 tells its own story. He's likely to be a short-price in this moderate contest and hopefully can finally gain his first victory. Leapt showed some potential on the Flat and can be expected to improve for his hurdling bow at Market Rasen but Mont Royal has been running poorly on the level in recent weeks. Crumpledandcreased showed a little bit of ability for Willie Mullins and was returning from a long break when running well for a long way at Bangor last month so she looks the one to take advantage if the selections doesn't come up to scratch again.
