Verdict

HAUL AWAY, runner-up in a better race at Ludlow on his hurdling debut in November, started odds-on when returning at Huntingdon last month but jumped moderately and was well beaten. He gets another chance to redeem his reputation against inferior opposition. Simply Mani was beaten a long way when runner-up over the track and trip last month while Jesse Jude was a 100/1 chance when chasing home Bedrock at Musselburgh though that was a much improved run from the latter. Maggies Legend was well supported at Worcester and showed a bit more so could snatch a place.
