In a first time visor FORTUNELLA can land this ahead of the consistent Gayanula with Oberlin looking the only other likely to be a danger. The selection has some from to overturn on Gayanula after finishing behind him two starts ago but this time they meet on better terms for the pick. Fortunella has been in good form since arriving at Gay Kelleway's yard and he has proven stamina for this trip which can't be said for them all. Gayanula has hit form recently but interestingly his only career win has come when this surface has been running slower than normal. He's also not guaranteed to stay the full trip and unless he gets it looks one to oppose. Oberlin is another with form over the selection but again the weights have swung the way of the pick this time. Another that likes this track and will definitely stay but like the one we've just looked at is at his best when the going is on the slow side so Fortunella looks the pick.
