In depth

Verdict

DEADLY MOVE finally opened his account under Rules at Bangor last month. He was only put up 3lb for that and the excellent James Bowen takes off 7lb again so the eight-year-old is probably worth sticking with given he won plenty between the flags over this longer trip. Gold Ingot ‘s claims over this distance are less obvious but he did win over 2m4f here in June. David John should be capable of making his presence felt again and Clubs Are Trumps is back on a winning mark with Killian Moore, who rose him into third last time at Bangor, doing the steering again.
