This is another open looking affair, with BEAT THE BELL, Fol Hollow and Bertoliver comprising ourshortlist, from which we'll nominate Beat The Bell as the most likely winner. The selection is chasing a four-timer, keeping on winning despite the hikes in the weights. Those successes have all been at six furlongs, but given the extra weight he keeps having to carry, a drop to five could seem sensible. Alan Bailey's thinking about taking him to Dubai in the winter. Fol Hollow was placed in a better event than this from an awkward draw last time out, and should be more than capable of winning here, as long as taking to the surface. All his wins to date have come on fast ground. Bertoliver likes a quick surface too. Recently switched to Tom Dascombe's yard, a front running display here from a decent mark could reap dividends. Our preference though is for Beat The Bell.
