        Verdict

        MAJESTIC BULL can land this maiden, and is taken ahead of Aboukir and Telling Stories. Majestic Bull is having his second outing; he showed up well on debut in coming fourth here in a better race, finishing ahead of a supposedly better stablemate. He can reward connections for spending 57 thousand dollars on him. Aboukir is a Paul Cole newcomer, and could be anything. He does well here, and he's having a decent season with his two year olds. Telling Stories is entitled to come on from an inauspicious debut, and any Mark Johnston horse is to be respected. As with any maiden, particularly with so little form to go on here a check on the market is essential. This is the third running of this race, and favourites have prevailed in the previous two years. The O'Neill yard do well here and we'll side with their runner, Majestic Bull.
