In depth

Verdict

ICE BELLINI gets our vote here, heading a shortlist which also includes Well Informed and Gayanula. Gay Kellaway's runner had shown little before winning a lowly maiden at Newcastle last month. First time visors will have contributed to that success, but this represents a step up. Previously tried on the Kempton all-weather, the surface here may be more to her liking. Well Informed finished well down the field in a better race than this at Kempton last time out, but has previously won. He's somewhat inconsistent, but the only course and distance winner in the field. Gayanula has been off the track since March, and if past races are anything to go by, won't want too strong a pace early on. It's a fairly moderate event, and we'll side with Ice Bellini.
