ELUSIVE HAWK is given the vote ahead of Ice Planet and Memphis Man. The selection bids for a hat-trick after back to back victories at Southwell. He clearly likes the conditions of the course and although he now has to race off a nine pound higher mark he still looks like he is on the up grade and is therefore a horse to stay on the right side of. Ice Planet is not the easiest to win with but he did run well in defeat when finishing third at Hamilton last time out. He has not won since June of last year and as a consequence he has slipped down to what looks like a winnable mark so any market moves should be noted. Memphis Man has been nothing but consistent this season and has to be respected as a result. He was not beaten far in both his last two efforts and is sure to be in the shake up once again. But for the winner we return to Elusive Hawk. (Nick Millard)
