Verdict

BARBADOS BUCK’S took a step forward when scoring over course and distance with plenty in hand. He’s taken to defy a penalty and confirm superiority with the runner-up Mr Harp. Point-to-point winner Bobby Bow also carries a penalty having made a winning start over hurdles with a victory at Hexham though a conditional takes 7lb off his back today while Fantastikas never troubled the winner at Stratford when second on his hurdling debut and steps up in trip. Wick Green has won five times between the flags and debuts under Rules.
