Some old favourites face the starter in this with a nice prize on offer. Theatrebar has been a grand servant but is probably high enough in the weights at present. Mason Jar won three times in the second half of last year but may also have been reeled in by the handicapper. It will be disappointing if Byron Flyer can’t make an impact after a staying-on fourth at Newmarket but CHAPMANSHYPE was progressive last season and is capable of a bold showing on his return to action. Rhythm Is A Dancer became a little disappointing last year but this offers the chance of a fresh start and he can’t be ignored off today’s mark. Oscar Rose can also figure given she has made a winning reappearance in the last two years while Paseo remains unexposed.
